Good morning, dear ones,
"Let my cry come unto You, Oh Lord... Let my supplication come before You ... May Your hand come to my aid..."
Psalms 119: 169a, 170a, 173a
Yes, Lord, this is also our prayer today. Hear us, Father, and come to our aid. We need you! We can do nothing without your presence. We are not able and nothing can restore and renew us like you do. All the physical and material resources within our reach will not be able to accomplish what is in the spiritual realm. Our soul cries out for You as the deer pants for water.
"As a deer pants for flowing streams, so my soul pants for you, O God. Psalms 42:1
Lord, come to the rescue of those that yearn for you! Satisfy our soul! Do not allow trials and tribulations to interfere with our relationship, but rather, let us get closer as you finish the good work you started in us. Enable us to fulfill the task you have called us to. Help us to always remember that if you have brought us to it, you will get us through it.
Jesus Calms the Storm
"One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, He fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.
The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”
He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples." Luke 8:22
Didn't Jesus say: " Let's go over to the other side"? Sometimes when we doubt, it helps to look back on the promises He has made to us: "I will never leave you". Undoubtedly, on the way over, we may encounter bumps on the road: it will rain and even storm, but the truth is: with Him, we will get to the other side.
Dear friends, let's seek more intimacy with our Lord. In times of difficulty, look up Like David did and cry out: "I lift my eyes up to the mountains, where does my help come from?" And let your cheerful and confident soul answer: "My help comes from the Lord, the maker of Heaven and Earth".
Thank you, Father, for filling our tank up with love, peace, and hope. Nothing compares to knowing you.
These reflections are written by my mom, then translated and edited by me. But, sometimes, God changes the whole thing. 😊
Thank you mom, for being such a dedicated servant of Christ, and for the example of faith you show us each and every day.
