Good morning, beloved of the Lord,

"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor. “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you" Prov 3:27-28

Lord God, praise your name, praise it forever!

Have you ever needed someone so desperately only to look around and realize you had not one friend willing or available to come to your rescue? Studies show that despite social media connections, most of us have a very small list of close friends. Imagine with me if we ALL followed the command in the verse above, and helped others regardless if they were close friends or not. When we
become available and unreluctantly hold nothing back, we are able to be used as instruments through which Jesus pours His living water to refresh their soul and quench their thirst.
Many people walk around with hollow souls waiting for a hug, a smile, a word of encouragement, or a helping hand. Let us remember that if we are blessed, it is for the purpose of blessing others.

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35

If we have been given the opportunity to bless someone, let's not say to this person: "come back tomorrow" if we can bless them today. The Bible says in Proverbs 21:26 that the righteous gives and does not hold back.
Let us ask God for the understanding and wisdom to absorb His words as we hear them, thus making them part of our vital system. His word heals and transforms lives, let's not keep it to ourselves. True giving consists of putting our own needs aside and paying attention to those God placed around us.

I pray God gives us an intense desire to be useful, to give, love, and share. I ask that we retain nothing, but instead become wise by obeying His commands and practicing His teachings.
God bless you. :)
