Good morning, dear ones,
"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and on that law, he meditates day and night."
This person makes the law of the Lord the source of his joy. At ALL times he thinks about this law, pondering how he can obey Him more. The word tells us this person is BLESSED.
May your grace and mercy be upon us, Lord. May we be touched by your word, which guides us, admonishes us, comforts us and makes us see the reality of who we are: children of the King.
Most of us, before knowing Jesus, certainly followed the opinion of the wicked, we followed them in their ways, and sat in the circle of scoffers and mockers of God. Some of us may even have been like Paul and persecuted the Christians. BUT, when the veil was taken from our eyes and we could see the light of the gospel and the glory of Christ - the image of God-*, we are no longer delighted to hear, walk, or settle with them and their wicked ways. They do not see the brightness of the light, but still live in the dark hiding from it, for it is the light that shows us who we are and when we sin. As the truth unveils and sinners see the light of Jesus, we are ashamed of who we used to be and have a deep desire to be a new creature in Christ. Oh! May we ALL come to the light. It is His desire that EVERYONE gets saved! (1 Timothy 2: 3-4)
The bright sun is available to all, but only those who expose themselves to it experience it's benefits. So it is with the light of Christ.
Sun of my soul, thou Savior dear,
it is not night if thou be near;
O may no earthborn cloud arise
to hide thee from thy servant's eyes.
When the soft dews of kindly sleep
my wearied eyelids gently steep,
be my last thought, how sweet to rest
forever on my Savior's breast.
Abide with me from morn till eve,
for without thee I cannot live;
abide with me when night is nigh,
for without thee I dare not die.
If some poor wandering child of thine
has spurned today the voice divine,
now, Lord, the gracious work begin;
let him no more lie down in sin.
Watch by the sick, enrich the poor
with blessings from thy boundless store;
be every mourner's sleep tonight,
like infants' slumbers, pure and right.
Come near and bless us when we wake,
ere through the world our way we take,
till in the ocean of thy love
we lose ourselves in heaven above.
John Keble, 1920.
May we all be enveloped and immersed in the divine light. This is my desire and prayer. Please leave your prayer requests in the comments and I will be praying for you. God bless you!

Thank you mom, for being such a dedicated servant of Christ, and for the example of faith you show us each and every day.
